Join renowned Tasmanian landscape photographers Cam Blake and Jamie Buchanan for an unforgettable 4-night Astrophotography Workshop based in beautiful Hobart. This immersive small-group experience is designed for photographers wanting to capture the magic of Tasmania after dark — from glowing Milky Way skies to dramatic landscapes and even the elusive Aurora Australis. ✨

Over four incredible evenings, guests will travel to some of Southern Tasmania’s most spectacular night photography locations including Tessellated Pavement, Huonville, the Midlands region, Mount Wellington and other carefully selected dark-sky locations. Each session begins around sunset 🌅 and continues into the night 🌌, giving guests the opportunity to photograph changing light, the Milky Way, star trails and potentially even the Southern Lights.

⚠️ Fitness & Experience Requirements

Guests should have a good level of fitness and be comfortable walking in low-light environments while carrying camera gear. Participants must also be confident operating their camera in limited light conditions. A tripod and interchangeable lens camera are strongly recommended.
