Scotland Photography Tour - Autumn 2027: Capture the Magic of Castles, Lochs, and Fall Colours

Imagine this:

You, your camera, and the mesmerizing landscapes of Scotland bathed in the vibrant hues of autumn. This is not a dream, but a reality that awaits in 2027 as we embark on an unforgettable 11-day photography adventure through one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations.

Why Scotland in Autumn?

Scotland is at its absolute magical best during autumn when the countryside transforms into a stunning patchwork of gold, red, and amber. The towering ancient castles stand proudly amidst the backdrop of vivid landscapes, while mystical lochs reflect the fiery colours of the season. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, this journey will allow you to immerse yourself in Scotland's awe-inspiring natural beauty.

Having moved to Tasmania, I’ve discovered the striking similarities between these two landscapes, and it’s easy to see why Scotland has long been on my radar. This journey will be the perfect opportunity to combine our love for nature and photography, and capture some of Scotland’s most iconic and unforgettable views.

What to Expect from the Scotland Photography Tour

From the moment we arrive, every day will be a new adventure. We’ll photograph ancient castles, spectacular lochs, rugged coastlines, charming townships, and much more. As we explore the famous Scottish Highlands, expect to witness an ever-changing landscape: towering peaks, peaceful valleys, crystal-clear waterfalls, and, if we’re lucky, even the elusive Northern Lights!

But it’s not just about the incredible scenery; this tour is all about you improving your photography skills and capturing these wonders in the best possible way. With expert guidance from myself and co-guide Dan Taylor, we’ll take you through every step of the photographic process, from composition to post-processing.
