It's HERE! Let's head to UTAH! 

Utah is a massive draw card for photographers the world over. The mighty 5 as they are called a 5 incredible national parks that many visit throughout the year to capture beautiful images. We will visit all of these incredible locations as we make our journey around the beautiful state of Utah. 

Come join myself and co-guide Dan Taylor as we guide you around this incredible state of the USA in comfort. We will visit many amazing locations throughout our 10 day tour that will leave you breathless of more than one occasion.

Our tour all starts and ends in the big, bright lights of Las Vegas. Guests will need to be in Las Vegas prior to our start date, 24th October 2024 @ 9am. We strongly suggest being in Las Vegas on 23rd October or earlier. Meeting point in Las Vegas to be advised upon booking. 

Our tour will conclude back in Las Vegas on the 3rd November where we will have a finale dinner the night before and wrap up. We suggest you give yourself at least a day or two extra in Vegas to wind down from this life changing journey. 

The itinerary will be as follows, but may change slightly during the duration of the trip;

• Tour commences in Las Vegas on the 24th October at 9am
• From Vegas we drive approx. 2hrs north to the town of Springdale, right on the doorstep of Zion National Park, which will be our base for next 3 nights as we explore Zion and Bryce Canyon Parks
• For 4 days we will explore the Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks
• After our 4 days at Zion/Bryce Canyon NP we will then head north east to the township of Moab
• Staying at Moab for 2 nights we will explore the Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and if time permits we'll check off our 5th Mighty Park, Capitol Reef National Park
• Departing Moab we head south via Mexican Hat (yep, that's the name of the town), and follow in the foot steps of Forrest Gump as we explore the stunning Monument Valley and some of Utah's most famous scenery
• After we check in with Forrest Gump we will then head further South West and check in for our last epic location, Page AZ and Antelope Canyon
• We will from Page then make our way back to Vegas via the Grand Canyon (yes, I know, it's not Utah but would be crazy not to stop in to see the biggest hole on the planet)
• We then sadly make our way back west to Las Vegas where we will finish this 11 day epic adventure for a wonderful finale dinner before saying our good-byes, the saddest part of the trip is saying the good-byes

What will be included?

• Accommodation - Single share room to yourself in 4 star or better accommodation for 10 nights - 24th Oct to 2nd November - Last day will be 3rd November wrapping up in Vegas. 
• Private Transfers in 2 vehicles (4WD or SUV) to and from the Tour - ex Las Vegas
• All National Park passes and associated park costs
• All meals included except Lunch day 1 & Day 11
• Finale Dinner in Las Vegas on Night 10
• Full Photography Tuition - if time permits we will conduct some editing sessions too
• 2 Guides - Cam Blake & Dan Taylor

How fit do I need to be? 

Whilst there are many hiking tracks throughout all these National Parks, we won't be doing any major hiking on this trip. This is purely a photography trip and we will do our very best to ensure you get to all the best locations with your camera. 

A moderate fitness level is required as each day will obviously include some walking around these national parks. On average we cover around 5-10km of easy walking each day on these tours, sometimes less. Most tracks are pretty straight forward with minimum ups and downs. Some photography locations will be easily accessible via our vehicles, with little walking to capture these amazing scenes.

Good walking shoes are suggested and if it helps, hiking poles, although our walks will be rated easy - moderate, hiking poles can help each day with the feet and back. *Please reach out if you are unsure whether this tour is for you and we can talk you through the fitness level side of things.

What will not be included in this trip?

• Travel Insurance - MUST HAVE
• Airfare to and from USA - Tour will commence in Las Vegas on 24th October at 9am - Tour will conclude on November 3rd in Vegas.
• You will need to be in Vegas prior to 24th October
• You will finish the tour in Vegas on November 3rd
• Visa application - Required to enter the United States of America
• Room incidentals and other non-tour related costs
• Alcohol
• Souvenirs 

A deposit of $1000 will be required to book your place on this Tour once full details are released. This deposit is non-refundable unless due to cancellation of this tour by Us or if you are unable to attend due to illness. Please see our full T&C's regarding workshop deposits and refunds - We have a minimal participation requirement of 6 guests for this tour. 

The remainder of payments can be made in instalments in the lead up to the departure. Final payment must be made no later than 1st June 2024.
