Capture the drama of the Sydney to Hobart finale — as we sail into Tasmania’s wild south-east
This unique photography journey coincides with one of Australia’s most iconic sporting moments — the thrilling finish of the legendary Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in southern Tasmania.
As we step aboard a luxury ocean racer and transition into an unforgettable coastal expedition along the raw, untamed cliffs of the Tasman Peninsula.
Over 3 days and 2 nights, you’ll experience a rare combination of world-class yacht racing energy and remote landscape photography — all from the best vantage point possible: the sea.
With only four guests onboard, this is an intimate, high-access experience designed for serious photographers and adventurers alike.
What You’ll Experience
Day 1 — Hobart to Port Arthur
Photograph the electric atmosphere as we sail out of Hobart to meet the yachts completing the Sydney to Hobart race, capturing the emotion, scale, and movement of this world-famous event. You'll have front row seats!
Days 2–3 — Tasman Peninsula Expedition
Sail along some of Tasmania’s most dramatic coastline, the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere, as we capture more of this historic race as the yachts round the Tasman Peninsula heading for the finish line, with photography also including:
Expect towering sea cliffs, moody seascapes, and constantly changing light — ideal conditions for powerful imagery.
Wildlife encounters are common, with opportunities to photograph seals, seabirds, and marine life along the journey.
