Introduction

This year is my 20th year of running a business, and for the last 10 years of those, I have been hosting workshops across three countries. There have been a small handful of clients who have been very supportive along the journey. I want to reward and thank these clients with a very generous offer and continue to offer them a pathway to maintain and improve their passion in photography.

I'm offering a membership to Tasmanian Photography Workshops to give you the most value on tours, workshops and prints. With this exclusive offer you gain massive discounts over the 5 year period, you continue to drive your own passion in your photography and you get to visit and learn in some of the worlds best classrooms. 

The membership includes 6 workshops, special member only pricing on on prints and books, and is valid for five years. If you want to attend more than 6 workshops, special member pricing will be offered.

What do I get if I sign up for this membership? What's included?

• 6 workshops included. No more to pay - one time payment covers 6 workshops (5 Australian workshops + 1 International workshop)
• Early bird access to the calendar of workshops throughout 2025-29.
• Members will get pre-release details of any new workshops that are to be released and have the first opportunity to secure a spot before it goes out to the general public. 
• Guaranteed spot - There will always be a guaranteed place available for members of ALL workshops.

Why am I being offered this? 

• For the last 10 years I have been hosting workshops and there has been a few clients who have been very supportive along the journey, and I want to reward these clients with a very generous discount, plus to continue to offer them a pathway to maintain and improve their passion in photography by offering up these tours, and value.

What does membership cost?

• $27,500 (including GST) - payment on purchase or due 30 days from invoice.

How many years is this valid for?

• You have 5 years to use the benefits of membership - valid for calendar years 2025-2029.

What could you save by becoming a member?

• You can save on average $7,000 (total) on workshops over the 5 years.

• More savings on prints and book purchases - 50% off books and prints.

• 25% off any additional workshops outside the membership 6 workshops.

When is this membership offer valid for? 

• This offer opens on 1st July 2024 and closes 31st December 2024 . It will never be offered again.

• For example if you purchase a membership it will be valid from 2025 - 2029 calendar years.

What if I don't use it up in 5 years? Can I extend it? 

• If you don’t use it within the 5 years, you can apply to have it extended. Extensions will be granted on a case by case basis for up to a maximum of 2 further years.

What if something comes up beyond my control and I can no longer use it? 

• Speak to us about this and we will work on a solution with you to make sure you get your value. We don't want to disadvantage you, so if something does arise where you are no longer able to utilise the membership we will work with you to come to an agreeable solution. 

Does it have to be used all at once? 

• You could attend multiple workshops in one year. It is valid for 6 workshops. But, once you use the 6 workshops up, you will be eligible for the other membership discounts.

What if I attend 6 workshops in one year? What if i want to attend more than 6 workshops over the 5 years? 

• If you can't get enough of Tasmanian Photography Workshops and you want to attend 6 in the first year, you can. Any additional tours will need to be paid for at a discounted rate.

• There would be a generous discount offered for any workshops over the 6 included. 25% off additional workshops - you could potentially save more $$$!

What other perks or benefits?

• Member discounts will be offered for prints, calendars, online sessions and books.

What happens if prices go up for workshops over the next few years? CPI etc.? 

• This won't affect your membership or attendance at workshops. It is one lump sum, fixed price. 

Can I get a refund?

• No refunds will be offered. The membership locks in the price and entitlements for the period of the membership (5 years).

If I bring a friend/+1, can they use one of the spots? 

• The membership is specific to you. If you want to bring a plus 1, they will need to pay the full price for the tour/workshop. We can add them to a shared room of the primary person (member) to ensure you have a double and can stay together.

Terms and Conditions for Membership

'Organisation' refers to Tasmanian Photography Workshops.

1. Membership Duration: This membership grants access to services and benefits for a duration of five (5) years from the date of purchase, until 31 December 2029. The services and benefits are outlined in the membership prospectus.

2. Non-Refundable: Membership fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to early termination, change of mind, cancellation, inability to utilise the service or dissatisfaction with services provided.

3. Transferability: Memberships are non-transferable and may not be assigned or transferred to another individual or entity.

4. Membership Benefits: The member is entitled to all benefits and privileges associated with the membership, as outlined at the time of purchase, for the duration of the membership. In the event the organisation is unable to offer the full services associated with the client's membership, clients will be contacted individually to reach a resolution.

5. Membership Renewal: At the end of the five-year term, the membership will automatically expire. Membership will not automatically renew and the terms and conditions may differ from initial membership terms.

6. Fees: There will be no changes to fees. Once membership is purchased, entitlements under the membership will be locked in for the period of the membership.

7. Termination by Organisation: The organisation reserves the right to terminate a membership without refund if the member violates the terms and conditions, engages in misconduct, or acts in a manner detrimental to the organisation's interests.

8. Changes to Terms: The organisation reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes in writing, and continued use of the membership constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Liability: The organisation is not liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities incurred by the member while participating in activities organised by the organisation as a result of their membership or use of associated benefits. All membership holders should obtain the appropriate insurances for any travel and workshops attended. 

10. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.

11. Payment terms: Payment is due upon registration, or within 30 days of invoice. 

12. Limitations and validity: Membership benefits do not apply to products, goods and services in the 2025-29 period that clients have already paid for in advance of purchasing their membership. Membership includes the standard inclusions under workshop listings. Clients are responsible for covering items not included. 

13. Members responsibility: Members will contact the organisation first if there are any concerns or issues with using the membership. 

By purchasing and utilising membership, the member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
