🔥 BFOP – PRE-GAME WARM UP 🔥

October 6th, 7th & 8th – Bright, VIC

Everyone knows you don’t step onto the field cold. You stretch. You warm up. You get your head in the game.

And there aren’t many games bigger than the Bright Festival of Photography.

This year, I’m arriving in Bright ahead of the Festival — and just like you, I need to shake off the dust and get those creative muscles firing. So I’m inviting you to join me for one of my 6 sessions over a three epic days of BFOP Pre-Game Warm Up Sessions.

💥 What’s Happening?

Each day features relaxed and easy going sessions

  • 📸 Morning Session - 8:30am to 11:30am (3 hours) - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

  • 📸 Afternoon Session - 2:30pm to 5:30pm (3 hours) - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Open to all levels — whether you're brand new to photography or just need a solid refresher before your workshops kick off.

You can book one session… or go all in and book all three days...

🚀 What We’ll Cover

This is about getting you confident, fast.

We’ll dive into:

  • Camera functions (what does what — and why)

  • Mode Dial mastery — Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual… and what the hell is the difference?

  • File settings demystified

  • Focus setup so you actually nail sharp shots

  • White Balance explained in plain English

  • Setting up your camera for specific genres (so you walk into your BFOP workshops ready to roll)

  • A street walk around Bright to blow out the cobwebs and stretch those shutter-trigger fingers

  • And whatever else we can squeeze into a power-packed 3 hours

This isn’t theory overload. It’s practical, hands-on, confidence-building stuff.

🎯 Why You NEED This

Don’t spend the first hour of your BFOP workshop:

  • Trying to remember which dial does what - especially if your first session is with the Legend Glynn Lavender

  • Digging through menus - Because no one likes waiting for you to find the self timer setting in your menu

  • Wondering why your focus isn’t working - unless you are aiming for that out of focus look

  • Playing catch-up while everyone else is shooting - let's be honest, we all play catch up - but this will help you catch up faster!

Instead…

Hit the ground running.
Feel confident.
Be switched on from frame one.

⚡ Limited Spots

Only 8 people per session / 4 person minimum
Small group. Big impact.

These will fill fast.

If you want to roll into BFOP warmed up, dialled in, and ready to tackle it like a beast — this is your move.

👉 Book your spot now and don’t miss out.

Cam is a very experienced photographer who is passionate about helping others develop their understanding of cameras and how to take the best photos possible!! During my 5 day trip to The Tarkine area of Tasmania with Cam’s tour group, I found Cam to be a fun, well organised guide who had a deep understanding of many facets of photography. I would definitely consider doing another trip with Cam!

This was a fabulous photography workshop in conjunction with ParAvion at Bathurst Harbour in Tasmania;'s remote south west! Cam Blake ably led us photographing in the varying situations the environment offered, With the teaching and the environment so amazing, I would readily do this workshop again
