Macro Photography Field Trip - Mount Field National Park - May 5th & 6th - Two Day Field Trip

8 Places only - Two Day Workshops - $695 Per Person

Come and join Cam Blake & Western Australia's Cheryl Davis (@ofwolvesandweevils) as we get down and into the world of macro photography for two consecutive days, in one of Australia's best macro classrooms, the Tasmanian forests.

From fungi to creatures and everything in between, we will walk you through our entire process of shooting in the macro world. On this two day workshop you will learn how to set up your shots, look for amazing macro subjects, light and exposure for your subject, shoot in a multitude of modes to ensure full sharpness of your subject, and how to edit your macro photography to the next level.

Macro photography can be quite daunting for many, frustrating and resulting in many missed results. This workshop will help you fill in the gaps, capture consistent and high quality macro images, and put you on the pathway to capturing mind blowing images from the macro world to share.

Both Cam and Cheryl will guide you through their processes for capturing macro images, show how to use your camera, exposure settings that you need, and focus accordingly on your subject. Part of these workshops will also be how to edit your work. We'll be using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to show you how to not only edit images, but focus stack your images if this is your chosen method of shooting macro. This is a complete field to print style workshops where you will learn the whole process.

Two days immersed within the Tasmania forests, which are known for some of the best macro photography locations in Australia. The Mount Field and Cradle Mountain National Parks both offer incredible classrooms for this genre of photography. You will not be disappointed in the macro opportunities.

As an added bonus the season for Nothofagus will be in full flight - come and capture beautiful images of the Fagus tree in full colour display.
