Hot Rocks

Cam Blake Photography

Photograph #5 of The Legacy Collection - Framed 24x36inch Print

The Hot Rocks were exactly like they sound. The heat on the Northern Territory outback when photographing this image was intense. I don't think I have ever worked so hard for an image like I did for this one.

To climb up a hill, camera and tripod in tow, in the late afternoon humidity and heat of the Top End of Australia was hard enough. Add to this the extra heat radiating from the rocks below was incredible. Sweating was the only option. A few litres of water later and a snap of the camera and I was able to create this beautiful photograph of the Northern Territory's Top End.

The photograph was captured using:

Camera - Fuji GFX50s Camera Body

Lens - Fuji 23mm f4 lens

Exposure - 0.5 seconds

Aperture - f16

ISO - 100

Photograph will be printed by Master Printer Simon Olding of Full Gamut Printing in Hobart. The photographer will be printed of Ilford Professional archival paper, guaranteed to last more than 100 years.

This photograph will be professionally and beautifully framed in Tasmanian hardwood.
